Bob Berlin sworn in as DuPage County State's Attorney

Wheaton - On December 7th, 2020, Robert “Bob” Berlin was ceremonially sworn in as DuPage County State’s Attorney. Bob’s current term will run through 2024. Berlin was unopposed in the general election and received 351,749 votes.

Berlin released a short statement after being sworn in, stating, “To all DuPage County residents, workers, and visitors: I am honored and humbled to be sworn in for another term as your State’s Attorney. I assure you I will seek justice in every case, work as hard as I can to protect the community, defend the rights of victims, and continue to be proactive in finding ways to reduce crime. As we see violent crime increasing all around us, I will continue to follow the rule of law to ensure DuPage County remains a safe and prosperous place to live, work, and raise a family.”
